NightlifePhilippines.com is looking for travel writers in Angeles City, Subic/Olongapo and Manila to create and submit reviews. We have a few requirements:

• Must be able to write clear, concise English language reviews.
• Must be objective and unbiased.
• Must have a light, fun tone, even when writing negative reviews.
• MUST have first-hand knowledge of review subject. No hearsay!
• Must fit one of the categories in the navigation menu on the site (hotels, restaurants, bars, etc).
• Nightclubs are included. If they serve alcohol, it counts.
• Hostels are fine as well. Hotels can be hostels to full-blown beach resorts.

We will pay $5.00 per accepted review. Reviews should follow the outline below:

• Photo of subject
• Should be crisp and clean. Does not need to be a Nikon D90 - a compact digital with 7+ megapixels will be fine
• Automatic settings, day or night
• Photos should be "full on", frontal, if possible. They should show a little of the surrounding area
• Name of Subject, Address, Contact Information (phone, e-mail), Website Link, Business hours
• Should include a description of the location, eg, corner of, across from (major landmark), etc
• Background introduction
• Such and Such has been a favorite watering hole in Manila's Ermita district since 1974, when Joe Barowner purchased the space from the furniture store. (note: name are not required but sure are helpful!).
• Description of the location, interior and exterior.
• General review
• This is the fun part! Go wild, but be objective!
• Special Features
• Prices, extras offered, etc
• Rating on Quality, Cost, Value, Service (1 - 5 stars)

It sounds like a lot of work! Think about a place you know fairly well, and see it you can apply this outline to that business or place. It's not difficult. The only time-consuming parts are getting a good picture (you have to be there), and asking someone at the bar or business about their basic history and contact information.

Most people can do this during their normal bar crawl or hotel stay, or while you are grabbing a bite to eat. This is perfect for retirees and expats who want to generate a little extra income.

For now, we only pay through PayPal.com - writing and mailing checks is troublesome and very time consuming - do you want to wait three weeks for the mail.

You can NOT use existing material found on the web, except for contact information and location (address, etc) and website links. These must be original reviews with original photos.
