Catwalk Club Image Gallery, Barrio Barretto

The Catwalk Club has a very unique layout and it's a refreshing change from the usual big dance stage in the middle of the bar. The Catwalk Club has, you guessed it, catwalks, arranged all around the sides of the bar. This makes for excellent viewing of the over 40 sexy dancers you'll find here on any given night.

When I first visited the club in February of 2010, they had these big square tables that were a little too large. Each one had four fixed seats, making it a little awkward for larger groups, and they really wasted a lot of space. Now, they've replaced all but two of those big tables with smaller, round tables and movable chairs. The two remaining square tables have movable chairs, so you can arrange things how you want.

Prices at the Catwalk Club are right in line with the rest of the area, and the service is generally excellent. I've never had to wait more than a minute for my next frosty San Miguel Light. They do offer a full selection of local and imported liquors. The lighting is good, though like most bars, they use a little too much white and yellow light. As a wanna-be photographer, this bothers me. heh. But it's fine for watching the girls.

The Catwalk Club is located on National Highway in Barrio Barretto. It is in the northern section of the strip, next door to Burgo's Sports Bar and Rosie's Bar.

Lower Lips Bar in Barrio Barretto

Wow.. I've been finding myself in Lower Lips Bar more and more lately, and for good reason. I never really liked this bar very much. I'd usually only come in if I was with someone else that was going there. Now, I never had a problem with this bar, it just didn't really come to mind when I was thinking about places to go. Nothing really made it stand out - black walls, decent lighting, same music you hear in all the other bars.

As I said, I've been going to Lower Lips more and more. I don't know what's changed. I was there last night and was having a really great time, and I started thinking about why I liked it so much more now. There are a few obvious reasons:

I didn't ask how many girls there were now, but since Upper Lips had roughly 50, I'd estimate that Lower Lips now has upwards of 90 girls.

But, there is more to the change that can't be explained by having more girls in the bar. I think the entire attitude of the bar has changed. It seems to have more energy, more of that spark that gets into your head and brings your attitude up, and puts you in party mode.

Whatever the reason, Lower Lips Bar is now on my list as a regular stop.

Voodoo Bar: Now With More Special Sauce

Voodoo now has more hot girls than ever. This is a MUST VISIT bar while you are in Subic.

Voodoo has always been a popular bar, but since Chris took over it's seen a complete revitalization. The bar has one of the best line-ups in town and service is excellent. The music playlist is always changing and getting better - there's enough pop to keep the girls happy, and enough good old rock'n'roll to keep the place hopping. You won't hear Lady Gaga over and over in this bar!

Voodoo will be the host of the Sons of Bacchus, Subic, Dance Competition on Friday, June 24th. If you haven't been to one of these events, this is the time to come. With around 100 girls from 9 different Subic bars, giving their best dance performances in their sexiest outfits, you are guaranteed to have a good time. The doors open at 4:00pm, and the event begins at 5:00. Get there at 4:00 to get a good seat, as these events are very popular and they fill up fast. Plus, you can mingle with the girls before the event starts. It's a great way to see what all the bars offer in one place. The entry fee gets you free drinks and food for the duration, and you also get happy hour pricing all night at all of the participating bars.

Lips Bar Complex, Barrio Barretto, Subic

Lips Bar complex rocks. Upper Lips has been closed, and the all new Surrender Bar is under construction. Surrender will be in the previous Disco location, one the ground floor, just straight back from Lower Lips. The management is still deciding what to do with the Upper Lips space.
